Well my name is Kristen obviously.. :) I drive a 96 240sx SE with 76k miles that I just got 12 days ago. Color is blue emerald and its a 5 spd with lsd. Only mod is an AEM short ram intake which is on it's way somewhere between here and arizona. Oh and I put some Bosch plugs and wires in it two days ago.And I'm obsessed with my car... do they have support groups for that? ;)

im Joe, have a 95 240 base model that i just put into a curb sideways at 55 miles an hour, so on the way are cusco lower control arms, cusco tie rod end, whiteline bushings and it bent the sway bar so suspension techniques sway bars are also on the list, i just gotta find a place that deals cusco that can get this stuff for me! blah

Aah yeah I read about what happened... sorry about your car :( I'm afraid to work on my car too because I really haven't done that kind of thing before... but I just put in new plugs and wires and it started after I was done. :D I'm a little worried about putting the AEM short ram in when I get it but they have it on the installs page so I should be alright.

Michigan sucks when it comes to finding aftermarket import parts.. good luck.

indeed michigan suck to find import parts, but also suck to work on a car. I origenally from Northern California and I have to start all over to work on car when i am at michigan. Learning how to use the torch to heat the bolt up etc. So Kristen_s14 is this your frist import car and where did you find this 240sx from?

Nope, its my 4th... I've only ever had imports. My first car was an 86 Mazda 626, then a 91 VW Fox, then a 91 Maxima, and now my 240. I got the car in columbus ohio, found it on autotrader.

I have an idea, yall should come down to atlanta for a while over X-mas. Its cold, but not nearly as cold as up there. Weve got a huge following down here and we love to party. My name is Eric, by the way, and I drive a white 98. I havent lived in Michigan in so long that Id probably get lost ion the snow. LOL. Sucks about the wolverines, huh?

There will most likely be multiple Spring meets in Bowling Green, KY...yeah I know it's a haul for you Michigan folk, but we've got a 1/4 mile track and we've had three meets in the past month and a half with a pretty good turnout.

Ky meet Pics of everyone's cars Nov 16th meet 10/19 Meet

This isn't even all the threads....we had a KICK A$$ time EVERY time...it will be worth the trip in my opinion. But, you've got time to decide. I think that I'm not alone when I say that I would be willing to meet somewhere in the middle or even meet in Joliet, IL if that track is even open to the public (it is AWESOME).

How about indiana somewhere? Like indianapolis? I think there should be a meet there sometime, its not too terribly far from bowling green.

Indy would be great....I'm pretty sure everyone from Louisville would show up...I just hope they have a track. Even if they don't it'll be fun, because getting to know everyone was probably the best part.

There is two car shows in indianapolis during the spring and summer. My friend went to one the past summer. Also, The local honda dealership moves their cars out and has a one day import car show with prizes. All imports welcome. There was only 2 nissans last year, the rest were hondas.
