Ok, I have the 240 (91) in a garage all ready to get worked on, and 2 heads (2 sets of hands) are always better than one (and its nice to have someone around thats done this before). Its located in North Kingstown, pretty close to RT 1. The major work being done is as follows: motor pull, timing chain/oil pump, head gasket, piston rings, various turbo stuff (oil lines, coolant lines) and general buildup. All the ECU/fuel upgrades are pretty much already done (just gotta work out some e-manage ignition control). let me know. AIM: JamesS15 email: [email protected] Also, does anyone know of any dyno tuners in the area? Thanks a lot.~James

We seriously need to have a northeast KA-T meet this summer. How sweet would that be?

I'll make the road trip so long as it aint in Jersey...lol. We don't want our cars stolen. We should do it somewhere by the ocean so I can get some real seafood again...AZ sucks for seafood.

However.com this is a thread that isn't about the NE Meet...lol. So get back on topic.

I'd bring your car over to Fiznats and let him hook his desktop up to it...lmao.

Hey man, dont knock the desktop methods, desparite times call for desparite measures, ive done the desktop method 2x (240 and a WRX). and WD, your in luck, I work at "the best seafood resturaunt in RI" as voted by RI monthly. Its good stuff. (Capn Jacks in east matunick in case your wondering). Also I live in a very safe neighborhood. we could even have a party at my house. I live on the water with a pool and I dont mean to toot my own horn or anything but i can flip a mean burger. Anyways, the 240 is in a garage that isnt mine, and the guy that owns the place is letting me use all of his tools, but kindof protective of all his stuff, (not that i ever think any of you guys would steal stuff, but put yourself in his shoes) but hes pretty cool and just told me to keep an eye on anyone that comes over to help. He was going to help me with the 240 but i figured its better to have someone familiar with 240s to help, and the more hands the better. WD coming up from arizona? wow, its like a meeting of the big cheeses now im all psyched to get this project really rolling.

New Jersey isn;t that bad. I mean your talking about North Jersey, thats Newarka nd crap. I live in Jersey and don't even venture that way, but if you want some ocean action. Theres nothing like the Jersey shore

I was just screwing with you guys anyway. I grew up in the burbs of Boston, some of which were real s_hitholes.

Yahoo says its 2653 miles and it will take 40hrs and 49 minutes. Jesus that'll be one hell of a road trip.

I got a buddy in Woonsocket RI I can crash with, but my parents house is just over 1 hour north...I'm good either way.

I'm stuck in Kansas right now, but will be returning to RI once i finnish intalling my kit. should be there through the summer- i'm no expert, but always willing to lend a hand. Currently working on my 95 se (greddy turbo/fmic, JWT ECU, MSD injectors). Would you believe it's hard to find parts in the middle of kansas? unless it's for a ford or a john deere, things are rather scarce.

Wow, what a strong return. I hope to have it done after spring break, and with fiznat's help that seems like a very doable goal. And the NE meet sounds awesome, and im pretty sure we can have a piece of it at my house. Ill keep in touch with you all and find out when/if we can all get together. Thanks a lot.

Yeah, I'd rather go to one on the coast anyway. I have relatives in Ohio, nothing is that state worth driving cross country for.

Hahahah well hey dont rate my help that high, my own car isnt even running yet!

I would love to help out though-- IM me sometime (foosternit) and we'll talk about dates and stuff.

As far as the NICO NE KA-T meet (NICONEKAT!?), I am down 100% for just about anything. A coastal place def sounds nice-- burgers, beer, tools, cars... I'm there.

My house is literally, on the shore. I eat breakfast and overlook a body of water that is connected to the ocean, and im about a 5 minute drive from one of the best beaches in Rhode Island. Fiznat, Id help you out with your car any way possible, but I dont know what i can bring to the table (also im really busy right now, testing all this week and work) but ill see what i can do.
