Hey y'all...I'm moving to North Carolina at the end of this month and am wondering...anyone live out there, and wheel their R50's? I'd like to hook up with some people who know the area and are into wheelin...let me know if you're anywhere in the Jacksonville/Wilmington area...I'd love to go play when I get out there! Thanks!

I LOVE NC, especially that area. My mom / bro / grandma live in Greensboro area, but I spent Thanksgiving in Atlantic Beach, and went to Wilmington / OBX / all over.

Dude, that's sweet...that's like what, an hour from Jacksonville? I can't wait to go play out there....hopefully the terrain is alot better than out here in Cali with a little of back home (FL) mixed in...How far inland do you have to travel to find something hilly? I mean...Jacksonville's pretty much on the coastal flats, right? Or does NC have coastal flats?

To get any kind of hills or mountains you'll half to come atleast halfway in to the state. URE (southwestern part of the state) is shutting down for the season but when it reopens in the spring if you want to try & get a run up we'll see what we can get going. There's always a couple of people with Xterra's & Frontiers that are willing to go around here (I'm usually the only R50 that wheels with them). You wont be too far from Riverrock ORV in GA too & I've heard that Tellico might reopen but then again that might just be wishful thinking.

In any event I need to get a couple of things done before I try & go out again (need to build a snorkel, bring the Herculiner up some more, get a front bumper made, maybe even rip out the carpet & Herculine the floors too & oh yeah get my new engine in).

Yeah, I figured I'd be a little ways from some good wheeling...Oh well...can't get everything you want, I guess...I've heard GA has really good off roading...my dad lives there, so I'll be making trips down that way now and again anyways...Yeah, a snorkel would be real nice, but I'm hesitant to cut up my car....wait, I already have, screw it...but they're a little expensive...Not really sure, though..I think diamond plate bumpers and a winch are gonna be the first projects I tackle after the move....Just one more reason to buy a welder...Mmmm...joy. But yeah, I'll hit you up when I get out there and we'll have to put something together. I have a feeling I'll be losing the all terrains and install some M/T's...the AT's have been great out here in Cali, but I doubt they'll cut it out there. Thanks, man.

The snorkel's only gonna cost about $90 & thats just for materials & I am wanting to cut the sh*t outta my fenders for more clearance too, so I aint afraid of cutting on my baby (just a bit of surgery to make her right)

So what brings you the the east coast (I probably should've asked that earlier?
