Building a motor is not rocket science. Any shop that is good at building motors can probably do what you are looking for. There is nothing spectacular about the KA that needs special attention. At least no more than you would put into another motor.

That being said, I think JWT can do it. I think the guy who built the VG for Mike Kojima was Mike Smith or something like that. Expect to pay a pretty penny, but the results would be very good with him from the details of the build-up of the SCC project 300ZX. I think he's more towards San Diego. NSport should be able to do a build up. I know they did a few and they should be fairly familiar with the KA. XS Engineering may have some experience with building KA's as well. F-Max is also down in the San Diego area. We have three of the most popular KA turbo kit manufacturer's in socal. I doubt it will be hard to find a builder. Top End Performance is known to build up KA's as well, but I've heard some nightmare stories about them.

KA is jsut like any other motor.... what are your plans... FI or all motor...

auto-x/drifting/road course or straightline drag....

you have to take into consideration in what you want to do.... anyone can build a motor, but not everyone can build a motor to do one specific thing....

I want it to be really well rounded, thats the thing. I wanna be able to auto-x, drift, roadrace, yet I want it to be able to hold its own on a 1/4. Basically I just want a bit more from it, if you get what I mean =\

PDM-Racing is in Vancouver, Canada. But I'm not sure he is any position to build a motor right now. Nor do I know if he plans to offer services like that. He was busy before he opened his shop, and I visited him late last year. They were just starting on some construction at the shop. Hopefuly it's done, but again, not sure if he has the manpower to do a build-up and focus on the day-to-day work he has to do.

actually i was jsut talking about purchasing the CAM or CAMS from him.... companies are known making aftermarket pistons for the Ka24... i forgot which company but ive seen them....

it isnt too hard to search for them... jsut look at the new magazines... since 240sx are the new bandwagon and are extremely getting popular quick.... new products are beign offered sicne there are much demands than before....
