I'm in tallahassee so I can't help physically but if you have questions you can PM me. or email me. I'm finishing my swap right now and have done EXTENSIVE research through this website and freshalloy. So far everyone thing has gone very smooth.

I live in the ft. lauderdale area and I know a lot of people to go to down here (if not a mechanic or want to do everything yourself). There was a 240 for sale around here for cheap in good condition for like 1500 I think. Look in the auto trader. Its a good start.

I bought my 89 through autotrader in Tampa. Picked it up for 1500. If you don't want problems with your engine, I encourage you to buy it from a reputable place. As close to Enjuku as you are, I would buy it from them. You can walk in person into their shop, just pick it up there.

probably not but call them. Not many vendors "stock" these motors. They are kind of hard to get. They are usually sold before they make it to the port.
