Thinking about purchasing the COBB springs because I was reading that it would work perfect with the 350z stock struts. I don't really want to blow my money on coilovers but would this be a good idea to runn the cobb springs along with the stock struts?

I'm interested in hearing some feedback on this question as well, since I do plan to do springs in the no to distant future

you can buy TEIN S-Tech springs for like $200-$250 about everywhere online. They're a trusted name and you should be ok with stock struts, but if you plan on some serious driving/track time, over time you will wear out the stockers. The COBB package is a good deal but at the same time, get some TEIN springs and some cheaper sway bars, and you have the set up with better springs (and lets face it - sway bars are sway bars) for a lot less money. Its what i plan to do before the end of the year.

Im thinking of getting the cobb units as well, supposedly the sways are made by Hotchkis, but thats just a rumor I've heard. Also, they only state that their spring rate is 15% stiffer, the problem with that is its vague and the Z suspension has gone through some changes over the rears with regards to rates especially.

I originally bought some 350Z Tein H-tech's to use on my G, but I've decided to sell them instead and go with something else.
