The wife wants an automatic rb motor in her s14. Im thinking of going rb25 for more torque even though its more money. As far as I know the auto trans stuff should be simular to 300zx and 240sx setups. I keep trying to talk her into a manual, but I think she's scared of em.

What problems are you having? It might be something common to other nissans.

Is it worth going through all the trouble to have an automatic vs. the trouble in learning to drive stick guys?

hahaha.this is like that kid on 240sxforums who wanted to put an rb25 auto into his car because he claimed he 'couldnt drive stick worth ****'.as for the automatic part im sure you can adapt the plugs to make it work on the s series cars.i know frosted flakes had a auto rb20 in his s13 but it didnt work quite right, proly because it was not wired in correctly, im sure the plugs have diffrent pinouts.
