hey everyone

my rear LCA bushings came and i did some research by searching the forum here and it turns out that im gonna have to burn the bushings out or something.. and i will need a machine press to get the new ones in?

anyone here attempt this at home with simpler tools? i got a vice, drill, metal saws and grinders, lots of ratchets/wrenches and im just wondering how hard this will be

any input would be appreciated : )

im sure getting the old bushing out wouldnt be that much of a problem...but for installin the new one it might be hard. A vice and a breaker bar might work but im not sure....i would say just try to find a shop with a hydraulic press that would let you do it

I did my friends with a vice and took forever becuase it was a pain in the butt. I was better off using a friends hydraulic press across town or paying a machine shop $40 to do it.

good ideas.. i guess ill try removing it and doing it with a vice first but if that doesnt work ill go to autozone and rent the thing

btw. i did try removing it yesterday and i could not get the bolts to budge. also theres barely any clearance to put a ratchet on them so im jiggling a wrench on one end and a ratchet on the other.

thanks

Marko
