anyone here in VA do transmission swap, in my case from an automatic to a manual, i need this done b/c i obviously cant do i myself, and would like to find somwhere nearby, i wasnt sure if i could just take it to any mechanic shop and get it done or if i had to take it.....well, somewhere else, u know what i mean, anyways, i thought i d save my self the trouble and go ahead and post it here and see if anyone knows. thanks in advance

theres some faq i think on 240sx.orgif ur mechanic is any good, you should be able to just collect all the parts, bring it to him, print out the faq on the subject, and let him deal with it

it shoudl cost alot more then replacing the clutch seeing as in both cases ur removing teh transmission. the swap has more work but if he wants to change u alot more then for clutchwork then find a diff mecahnic
