I was wondering if your dp replaces your cat or not. APEXi says it will but im not sure mine is the same.Mine dosnt seem that long and it dosnt look like the one on the site.I cant actualy put it on the car yet so i cannot tellI have the N1 version.

i think apexi's downpipe does not get rid of the cat on our cars (as we only have one). other newer cars, such as evo or wrx, i think, have a cat on the downpipe. the only downpipe i personally know of that deletes the cat is the tougefactory one, although there may be others out there.

RSR shows the downpipe and o2 pipe as one piece in the picture, but the downpipe actually is just a regular downpipe, so it's misleading. The Apex ones are probably the same deal.

actually, xs engineering also makes a downpipe that functions as a cat-delete for s-chassis cars, too.

I had an N1 DP on my GSX and it had no cat. There is a flexpipe section where the cat would be, but longer than the stock flexpipe area. I am not sure on other makes, but on a 91 GSX, no cat...
