Stumbled upon this: http://www.ontariozcar.com/forum/showth ... -300zx-Z31

Sounds interesting and pretty recent... I'm waiting on the confirmation email to join that forum and start asking away...

Thoughts?

OH! Well yeah...

#1: How much for a set?
#2: Anymore trial and error on other coilovers?
#3: What welding is required?
#4: By "Fits-with-modification" do you mean the grinding down of the adapter? Or something else?

Not for now... You pretty much got it... I'm not in the market for coils for now, just wanted to know what kind of budget I'm looking at... But that's a good deal...

Do I pm you when I want them, or do you have a website we can order from?

But then you're stuck with only Stance coilovers... This gives me the option to pick which ones I want...
And these (for me) feel safer than cutting the strut tube and welding the coilover directly...

Just made my week seeing these! I'm new here and was wondering if you "G-E" could pm me?

#2: Anymore trial and error on other coilovers?
#3: What welding is required?
#4: By "Fits-with-modification" do you mean the grinding down of the adapter? Or something else?

I'd also like to know if anyone has solved the camber in the rear without heavy modification?

#1 see: http://responsetype.com/shop/fairlady-z ... -adapters/
#2 more trials happening on other chassis ... going to spread the product line to toyota and mazda ;)
#3 weld the circumference where the tube used to be to the adapter
#4 sometimes just grinding the gusset down, sometimes egging the coilover bracket, worst case a heavily modified bracket

It appears that megan racing coilovers fit without modification, but the brackets used by cx racing (same as megan's thread pitch) won't... so you could go down the path of modifying, or you could swap to megan brackets to use them directly.

The rollcenter adjuster kit is included with the adapters specifically to enhance driving dynamics when lowered, but also gives you more trackwidth; it drives up the cost, but it's so worth it...

Oh I am going to releasing something for the rears in about a month, you can read about it on the blog pages :)

And I had a batch of reducing washers made to let you use the adapters with s14/s15 front coilovers as well... I'll post them on the site soon.

Are these adapters still available? I checked the website but they are out of stock. I am also interested in the z31 tension rods as well. Please pm me or message me back on your website. My username is the same. Thanks for supporting the Z31!
