Anyone having issues with auto trunk release on 09 Murano?

i was inside my office building when hubby called me to say that he saw my trunk open on 09 Murano...my fob was no where near me and inside my purse. if he didn't happen to pass by to see it, i would never have known.

any thoughts??? thanks.

Where was your purse at during the time? If you have the power liftgate feature and something was pressing against the button when you were walking away then the liftgate could have opened as you left. The buttons do not require much effort to activate. If you do NOT have the power liftgate feature then monitor it and if it happens again take it to the dealer.

I personally haven't seen anyone else report this issue but I have seen numerous reports of those having all their windows down (another keyfob issue with items in pockets/purses pressing the button).
