6 days left tho

they installed pretty good.. i broke my tach tho o_O

I had the original super bright indiglos in there.. liked these better but i wasn't patient with the tach and now it shows my car idling at 0 rpm.. so you have to be careful not to move the needle too much and be gentle with it :)

You basically slide them over your stock gauges, drill a hole or two for the wire to come out [some people take out light bulbs.. but then the odo won't light up], then put it all back together.. make sure its not hooked to the factory dimmer switch as it comes with its own and you'll fry it..

hey thanks for the info. but if you dont mind i have a few more questions was it hard to get to the cluster? did you have to remove the entire custer from the dash? and then you had to hook into some power source right.

I have the e-bay ones(yes I'm an e-bay addict). I got the ones that can be switched between blue and gree and have a brightness knob. I just installed mine (had them for ever b/c I got them for my last 240) over top the factory faces, I cut the wires for the light bulb in the ashtray since I don't need it and ran wires up front and connected the wires for the little harness the gauges came with to those wires from the lightbulb. This set up works great. I used "clear" model paint to paint my needles so I could see them better (were white on white faces), it worked great except in a few spots I made it too thick so I may try to remove a little paint. As far as getting to the cluster, search around there are some great threads about getting to it. Hope this helps.

Tom those ones are silver during the day

I ran the power off the dimmer switch, but spliced it in before it actually hits the dimmer switch so there is little to no change in power to the gauges.. its close to the gauges and i just set the box & controller on top of the little cover panel that is underneath the steering wheel & all that crap.. To install them the whole gauge cluster has to come out, which means dropping the steering column to make enough room.. you can try it without it, like i did the 2nd time, and i cracked the big cover that goes over the gauges/holds all the buttons n what not.. you cant see it but i know i cracked it so it sucks

I would drop the streering column, it's 2 bolts I think.. worth it in the long run..

Im going to do some custom stuff with my needles one of these days, i'll have to post pics of it :)

Hey fuzion we have the same gauges. I loved mine (until they started giving out on me...not fun driving @ 1AM with no instrument cluster)
