I am looking at the 89-94 Nissan 240 SX Hatchback Type D Body KitFront Bumper is the main peice I am looking at... As I already have a spoiler and will peice together the rest of the kit. Grrr it wont post the link to the right page i'll upload a pic in a sec from the site. [edit] ok fixed the issue

I was hoping for better pictures possibly daylight on the street or in a parking garage.

I would also like to know how well the fitment was, for example how much trimming did you have to do etc...

Sounds like a SACK OF s*** so far (to be honest)

EDIT - there is a photo now. My suspicions were correct.

I am looking for actual input and feedback, not one liners... Opinions are welcome though, I would prefer that you expand your thoughts for the rest of us (ie. ME)

Yikes, that's really ugly dude. Fitment will also most likely be like garbage.

Don't represent OP with that ricer kit, get something less "spaceship" if you will. Or else the next time I'm in KC I'll hunt you down.

First off its ugly. It doesn't make the car look good at all. It's tacky and way . I personally wouldn't ever put that on the car. But hey its your car so do whatever you want.

You are picking kits from a rip-off company that sells copies of real parts.

Imagine a photocopy....

You are essentially buying a copy of a copy (and sometimes of another copy).

The quality doesn't get BETTER, it gets WORSE.

At any rate, buy whatever you want.

Buy the quality part the first tme or buy a piece of s*** ten times. It's up to you.

if you really want to put an aero kit on your car don't buy it from some sketchy site, or ebay. The kit probably wont fit right or come in damaged.

You won't find many people here who still likes the 90's style of imports. I believe that's a Do-Luck knock off kit btw. I got to admit, a lot of those extreme looking kits were hot back in the 90's, but I look back on it now and wondered what the hell we were all thinking.

I smell blood.

That kit is ugly ugly ugly. The second one is better looking , but its a rip off of another kit so chances are its fitment will be horrible.

P.S That car needs to be lowered ASAP, what a horrible demo car......just horrible.

Thanks Teddy... Now let's set some things straight, I do like the Front Bumper and that is the part I am asking about. The side skirts can bite a big one...

The main point of the post was to find out if anyone had actually tried a body kit from this company (body-kits.com) and how the fitment worked for them. Also I was hoping to see a picture of a real street car with this body kit installed.

Now if you want true ricer style look at the enzo body kit.

OP, see the thing is that you are not understanding is that those kits are of crap quality, therefore most people on here would shy away from it. If you are planning on drifting a 1/2" off the ground then get whatever cheap kit you like because you will no doubt need another front bumper soon. If you are going to daily drive and not lower it, then dont put a body kit on it because that is true . However, if this is a car that you are trying to slut up with some hot parts. Then you are in all the wrong places man. Take some advice from these guys and undersstand that cheap is not always the best way out, unless you plan on buying another one.

As far as feedback on both kits...

The first one...

There isnt one nice aftermarket panel on that thing. The front bumper isnt going to fit very well either.

The second one...

Selection on style is better, although, that kit isnt going to fit well either.

This member made a good comment and gave great examples of where to find quality body parts...

Check out those sites and understand when you see the price, you are paying fro the better quality, less prep work before install, and much better overall fit and finish.

Problem is, that kit is probably a bad repilca of a bad orginal design to begin with, looks alike an really old style Bomex Vader kit that was rice when it came out. But there were only few choices back then. Do yourself and all of us a favor and do a little more research on body kits before you buy something that won't get you any kudos...

I think what you meant to say here is they WANT to shy away from it. Lets face it, most 240 owners will buy them regardless of fitment.

I would like to remind everyone that this thread is about helping the OP find pictures and info about fitment of the kit.

Not what your personal taste is and what you would get instead.

not here. I would never invest in a kit that wouldn't fit right.

Well, Most of us are commenting on how terrible the kit will fit. And giving him info on kits that would fit better.

No info, this is your personal taste and nothing about fitment.

I am not building this car for everyone esle, I am building this car for me. That being said if I find another Lip I like I might use the other one. I would still like to see some better pictures of this Lip at least or maybe some pictures of lips that you guys like.

Again just to reitterate It is only the front lip I am interested in... My thoughts are how bad could the fitment be on a front lip?

I know there will be some minor issues... I am thinking maybe like one or two holes not lining up... Maybe having to use shims to get it to line up with the hood just right...

I would still like to see some better pictures of this Lip at least or maybe some pictures of lips that you guys like.
