I need to get some wheels from a pick n pull off a 280z. Only problem is theres no wheel key lock nut in the car.. Now I have to look for one so I can get the wheels. Let me know if you have one. Ill rent, buy, or trade for 240sx parts and sr20det parts. Please give me a call at 925-348-0182 Mon. Thanks.

the 280z didn't some from the factory with mag wheels or locking lugs, they are all aftermarket or dealer installed and by no means universal, some tool companies make locking lug removal tools, basically various size sockets with reversed tapered threads, or just take an assortment of 12 pt sockets and the one taht almost fits, beat on with a hammer, once you break it loose you need to bust the socket off and go to the next one, and I've seen some early wheels and lug nuts taht allowed me to get a pipe wrench on the lock to turn it off

True but since they are z wheels, This and wtb section was my only thought of mind. They are the 5 star point. Walnut creek honda has it (california).. but it must be like expensive.

I'm not critisizing your post I was just pointing out that the 280z came factory with no mags or lock so there isn't a generic 280z wheel lock key you can get, so the wheels are a 5 point or the lugs? did you look into the off the shelf locking lug removal sockets? or hammering a 12 point onto the lock?
