I know this has been posted before but I can only find the post explaining the difference but no picture. Maybe I saw the picture on another forum but I need to see to clarify. I have a redtop but it seems to have the cooling fins mentioned about blacktop s13's so I want to see a picture to clarify.
I'm wondeirng if somehow I have a blacktop with the redtop valvecover???
Anyone have the pic of the cooling fins blacktop s13 has compared to redtop s13?

Ok. So my so called 'REDTOP' has those fins. Should I assume that I have a blacktop and my 62 ECU will not work with this redtop that has fins?
Can someone confirm this for me? I currently have a redtop using the 62 ECU and from what I read, if it's a blacktop that I'm going to switch with, the pins on the ECU of a blacktop are different from the redtop and I'll have to find out.

ok, thanks so much! cleared everything up. Someone should change the FAQ since it says that the difference between blacktop and redtop is the cooling fins on the head. Obviously that's not really correct. At least chances are my 62 ECU will work.
