22 wont look out of place on the M but they will be heavier so there will be some loss of ride quality. I like like TSWs. They're durable, look good and priced pretty nicley. Most styles do tend to be on the heavy side but they may still weigh less than the heavy stock wheel. TSW does make a couple flow formed wheels that should be lighter than their other designs.Dub2dub wrote:Thanks for the information yall. There are 3 main manufactures that I've been looking at. Tsw niche and Lorenzo... My only hangup now is if I buy 22"s will the m's ride and performance degrade to unacceptable levels... I'll post some pics of the wheels I am interested in shortly. Any feedback, opinions, or just plain information about the wheels would be greatly appreciated!
Did someone say Maverick 508S?Dub2dub wrote:Thanks for all the responses and TMK thanks for going to all the trouble of actually weighing your wheels/tires!! I am also looking at the flow formed offerings from vossen, HRE flow formed, WEDS maverick 508s and the Work gnosis 201 or 202

He hasn't been updating his build thread on MyG37. His last post on it was in June 2014 so i can only assume that he's not doing anything with it anymore or that he's sold it.IlyaKol wrote:Kenny doesn't have the M anymore!? Man. Damn.
Sheesh I got 67lbs total with my wore out sumitumos on the stock 20's, I used a spare g35 sport oem rim to throw on while I rotated my tires and they were A staggering 23lbs lighter albeit being an inch narrower and rim and 20mm narrower tire. But it went on over the sport caliper np. It got me really thinking of how much performance I'm losing with the stock 20sTheMajesticKing wrote: ↑Mon Jan 05, 2015 6:45 pmsorry for the late response. when I weighed mine they were around 71lbs with tire. My 20" concave wheels were actually lighter. Those things are insanely heavy.
