i couldnt find em anywhere else so u'll have to order them from him (its a good deal IMO (i didnt get it cuz i already had a trust ca18 dp)nocwage wrote:Where do you guys buy them in North America? Do you just order from aussie ebay?
it will give you the same problem as running an SR downpipe/dumppipe combo because basically all it is, is an SR downpipe/dumppipe welded together in the middle (no more flange)... Its a good deal if you didn't have to pay shipping from Australia, and if there weren't such incredibly cheap downpipe/dumppipe combos on ebay.nocwage wrote:ALSO, i have an SR downpipe right now and it sits really close to the framerail (as mentioned in another post), does thie flynn one have the same problem or does it sit more where the stock DP is?(seeing if it's worth buying)
Any idea about why this occured? Is the CA OEM cat flanged differently than the OEM SR cat?float_6969 wrote:......The other is that the oval flange on the other end isn't lined up quite the same as everyone else's so your test pipe will be turned wrong......
Correct.. or upto something like 15,000 bucks fine and 18 months imprisonment...niscort wrote:cat convertors are required by law in Australia

wow they did that to you...i never had them inspect anything on my car...and we were caught @ the drift spots a few times....all they did was profile us like "I KNOW U WERE DRIFTING U HAVE TWO DIFF SETS OF WHEEL ON YER CAR" lmao.....prove itthemadscientist wrote:Japanese cops are hip to that, they will tap on it to listen for a hollow sound.
When you tap my cat it sounds hollow, but it is full.. it still has that casing on the outside, so thats maybe why.themadscientist wrote:Japanese cops are hip to that, they will tap on it to listen for a hollow sound. They are still a step behind though. I run a holesaw down through and slide a pipe down through so it's open but doesn't sound that way when you tap it.
