i had a straight pipe on mine for a short while

really sounded like ***...i took it off.

id reccomend putting a decently sized resonator in and no muffler if you are going for loudness.

well do you guys have any sound clips?....I just don't want to pay someone to make me an exhaust that I'm not going to like, I'm the guy thats doing the Jacquemond kit, so I'm was thinking of doing a stright pipe all the way back and then into a Y pipe for my duels, would it help if I put my Tanabe muff right before the Y pipe, or will that do nothing, I don't know much about exhaust.

thats one fat ***, since you have the holes id do a dual set up, if they werent there it would be a single for sure. do a straight down pipe, then into a resonator, towards teh end Y it and attach a tip on each side.

Its hard to make an inline six sound like ****. Ill just tell you that...

If you have a resonator or a muffler you'll be ok...

Heres a video of me racing someone with an RB20 with an open Downpipe ( NO exhuast ) and it sounds beefy as hell to me.

Me running 60-70psi on my FPR, ( i didnt know ) so my car was running slow as hell... Now i turned it back down and i am getting tuned so i should be able to take him easy this time.

Oh yeah, dont mind the ****ty driving, I usually do slightly better. It was my first time on a track vs. a cone course, kinda scary

thanks for the vids guys, I had a 3" Tanabe racing exhaust on there for over a year , and it sounds really good, I'm just not sure how to make it work for the duels, which on would work better? A or B........for a I would have to buy another Tanabe muff, and extend the piping alittle after the muff.

i would say go with "B" it will look the best, and it will be easier to hang a pipe instead of a muffler....
