Anyone have problems with Autometer Gauge pod in 89-94 240SX?

Ok, My car is at the shop, so while it's getting built, I wanted to do some interior work, I bought the 2 gauge Pod for the A-pillar, the box says 89-94 240SX, the part has the corresponding part # on it, but it DOESN'T even come close to fitting. I took the A-pillar out of my car earlier, and just tried it now, check out the pic. I'm a little confused.
