Hey Everyone, Has any FX owners had luck getting your power driver's seat to stop rocking and making popping & creaking noises? Mine finally started about 2,000 miles ago, and it is starting to drive me up a wall. There is a TSB that says to lubricate the pivot joints, but I've heard that doesn't really work well. I'm planning on taking it in next oil change, but thought I'd get some idea's to give to the dealer if they are stumped. I also have to get: a loud pop noise (sounds like the glass is gonna break) in the driver's door when you hit a bump, a creak in the rear pass. door on driver's side, and a groan in the rear bumper when you lean on it, all fixed. -- So if you've had any experience in those too let me know...

Thanks,

I did take mine back to the dealer and it took them two tries, but they finally did end up adjusting the seats so it does not give and make that anoying sound.

All I have to add is..Wow I guess its not just the Quest and Murano high pedestal seats with the problem.

Jim what did they adjust to stop it?

I asked the dealer and they told me they removed the seats and adjusted the railings so its a better and tighter fit so there is no gap in it to cause the anoying sounds.

Thanks Jim! I'll mention that (or may just print out this thread) when I take it in. But now that you mention it that way, it almost behaves like a 4-legged chair that has 1 leg just a bit too short. I wonder if they put a thick washer under the left rear rail attachment point, if it would stop rocking and groaning?

Thanks again for your input.

:icesangel Hello from Pittsburgh,Bought by 03 Obsidian Black FX45 w/ Brick Interior from CochranInfiniti.Originally, they said it was an unfamiliar problem. Since then, they have told me a tech bulletin has been put out to the dealers on the squesky seats. They ordered and entire new base for the seat and will be replacing it next week.Anybody have suggestions on Mods to boost the power on the V8? Seems like most of the accessories are for the 6.Roaring down the road....Mike NetzelPittsburgh
