Anyone have good resonces on how to tune standalone?

I'm tring to learn about live tuning, But obviously you can't tune if you don't know the bassics of how to make maps and know what ideals are. Is there any articals or books i could buy? I did a search came up dry, I found a few snipits of info but i want a a-z resorce i could study.

I lean better by doing--see if a shop will let you watch/help while they tune your car.

i agree with rotorimp your best way to learn is by actually watching someone who knows what their doing.

I just megasquirted my car and between what i learned from those books and looking over other peoples tunes, plus a good wideband, I've gotten my car running.
