That one on ebay looks nice in the picture....But I have a feeling it will look crappy in person. Just IMO.

Body kits for our car are going to be expensive. Do not go with the cheapest one you see. Some companies use cheap materials and will make your car look like some riced out honda.

You can also go with the OEM AERO rear bumper. http://www.g35parts.com/9083/o...d=225

There are two problems with cheap body kits. 1 is that they are made of cheap materials like Teflon mentioned. Fiberglass is VERY brittle and a decent bump will crack it like a Saltine.

The other issue is the fitment. You might be able to find an inexpensive poly-urethane bumper, but how much work with the body shop have to do to make it fit? Will it look ok later? Will you end up paying more in the long run?

I went with the 2005 bumper, because it is a one peice design, I hate the black plastic offered only on the first gen sedans, so I plan to either get a set of 2005 side skirts to match, or an aftermarket set of side skirts and front bumper cover to really clean up the car.

If anyone wants an 05 rear end, I would sell it and likely just get a full kit from stillen or ebay

Uhhh... I dunno man, I think I spent way too much on the stupid thing to ever sell it... well, not the bumper, but the little "mudflaps" from infiniti shop killed me... That's what almost made me pull the plug a few months back, then I hit a racoon, so my front is Fubard also... which is why I keep toying with the idea of a full conversion... I don't know if you'd want mine, I'm in the process of debadging it, and prepping for paint, so it don't look pretty... been too busy to make it happen

Sorry to get your hopes up, but I'd suggest looking around for a full kit anyway, don't do what I did and regret not getting a full kit, it's worth the wait, even if you have to splurge.

I can make the mudflaps in CF and Fiberglass!!! I have the molds sitting in the garage.

They'll have to be painted though, because I don't have gelcoat capabilities.

I can make them in CF for around $150 (that stuff is expensive). Fiberglass would be $100 or a little less.

Hahaha. No mold. I only have the mud flap thingies because my coupe had them. I realized that I like the way it looks without them on better.

I still need to put the front spoiler back on. Not sure if I'm going to use the CF one I made (still needs work) or the original one which needs to be painted.

Does the sedan come with skirts?

The pieces I had to buy replaced the black plastic strip behind the rear wheels, not actually a mud flap. it's the small piece that meets the rear bumper cover to the rear wheel well.

Infiniti ordered the mud flaps you're reffering to by accident, and I think they cost around $160 from infiniti, the little strips I bought were around $95 per side, plus tax.

I might look into the side skirts off a 2005 -06. I think they'll fit fine.... now I just need the perfect front end.

Thanks Sentient for listening to my ramblings.

Hahaha. Yeah I can. I'll have to check to see if I can get my hands on a set for the sedan. The ones I have are for the coupe.

My price was for all 4 corners.

Very interesting... do I hear group buy?

Or do you think they look ricey? I know they look pretty hot on the coupes, but the sedan, may well... I dunno

I took mine off for the molds and decided to leave them off.

I'd put my wife to work on making these, but somehow I don't see toxic fumes and pregnancy mixing well lol.

If anybody wants these, let me know. I'll bust out the CF and fiberglass!

I'll show you what mine look like...I had them painted along with the side skirts.

Also, I went with the Stillen rear valence which I think looks nice along with the sedan.

i'll have to take a few new pics cuz it doesn't show in that picture in my sig.
