im gunna save up for some kyb gr2 w/ some lowering springs... and i was looking at the inventory of a store close by my house...

and they had brand new RS*R down springs for $151 w/ a million mile warranty... the springs give a 1.6in drop front and a 1.2in drop in the back...

Are these springs good? and does that amount of drop look good? for those that have dropped close to that much

If you want a serious drop then get coilovers. Yeah I know, "omfg they're like $1000!!" But the $500 you spend on on struts and springs could be getting put towards coilovers.

How the f*** would you know if I have experience with them or not?

You can't say f*** here? Lame.

Anyways, unless you are willing to shell out the cash for a top-shelf spring and strut combo just pinch your pennies for a little while longer and get into some entry-level coils.

Don't spend more in the long run and waste time.

woah way to get pissy

i doubt u have run koni's and if you have you wouldnt knock them

yea a good setup is the same price as JDM coils

you pay to play the game

but mad tyte coils arent the only quality setup

i do agree the OP should just pick a setup once, selling something later is stupid

They were on my Corolla before they blew.

It's definitely an improvement over stock but I can't pay money for non-adjustable ride height.

then get the ground control sleeves if you want height adjustiblity... honestly for a daily driver i dont see why you NEED to adjust the height anways- our roads are terrible so i dont go rediculously low

Well my roads are great, and I have never seen the point in modifying a daily driver.

That is all.

GR-2s are pretty much like an OEM replacement. i think with the RSR down spring rates they will work fine. Its just not really worth it to spend 600 bux on springs and struts when you can just dish out another 200 and get fully adjustable coilovers. I ran AGX with the RSR "Race" springs and it rode decent. At the time I thought they were awesome till i got cash for coilovers and even the entry line JICs ride damn good. If you need a deal on some new coils i can help you with that.
