Anyone have experience with RACEON USA's Vortex kit?

Just wanted to know if anyone has ever ordered a Vortex kit from RACEON USA (The Vertex knockoff) Just wanted to know how the fitment is and how much hacking and bondoing I would need to do if I was to get the kit from them

Vertex is a knockoff to begin with and has very crappy fitment. so just imagine a knockoff of a knockoff. i don't even wanna imagine the crappy fitment you'd get out of that.

I understand that Raceon's Vortex is a knock off, but how is VERTEX a knockoff??

A knokoff of ings+1 , GP Sport and some other ones. dude i haqve seen the fitment on Vertex kits vs the fitment of the GPSport kit it was copying . and it was horrible. unless we are talkig about totally different Vertex.maybe raceone can make them better it would be likeAndy's Auto copying Jblood kits but actually making them stronger and fit better than the original..

you seen a fake vertex then... they are better fitment than chargespeed. and which vertex you talking about?

lang, ridge, ??? they dont have just one kit. And no other kit looks like the ridge at all. T&E make nice stuff tho. I have no clue on th eknockoff-but the URAS knockoff is supposed to fit nicely.

I was never aware that vertex actually made any knockoffs of other bodykit companies. My friend got the Vertex lang bumper for his S15 conversion and it was a good fit. Anyway I could care less about the real vertex at this point, anyone else bought the S13 vertex knockoff from raceon? So far I had one guy telling me it's a POS....

i've seen chargespeed kits on 240's and the fit was aweet. the vertex kit i saw ( dunno which kit) but it was a copy of GP Sport kit and there were huge gaps ( more than 1/2 inch) on the bumpers. and this is Vertex coming from Japan. also it was kinda thin, and flimsey. personally i am going with Origin Stylish. supposedly they have very good fitment. ( we'll se the fitment when it get here in a week or so) basically that is my 2 cents.

they also sent him the wrong rear bumper, and the front bumper wont clear the bumper support without extensive cutting.

get the origin series bodykits or a chargespeed lip

I bought a shift knob from race on usa, they are a bunch of no good rip off mother F**kers. The shift knob was 110 $ canadian and i sent them a money order and they cashed it but NEVER sent me my shift knob! And when i call them they say they dont have any records of me and cant help. But yet they cashed the money order........

yeah theyre not so great to deal with. i'd never recommend anyone to them. if anything goes wrong and you try to call em. they'll ***** back like theres no tomorrow... bad support, bad products,

origin/versionselect/whatever should have a vertex knock off. it shouldn't be too expensive less than 900 for the whole aero?

while im here does anyone in Southern CALI have a stock sr turbo for sale or a turbo setup in there KA whos going to the whittier narrows meet. I wanna take some pics for referrence for when i start my turbo set up.

aj1365 you are confused.

Vertex T&E is the original creator of their kits. knockoff companies include version select (i use this, great fitment) raceonusa, ebay, etc etc, and to some degree origin (the kits are not exactly identical, the front bars on the bumper have been slightly modified, the skirts and rear are the same).

I have a real Vertex! and it fit like OEM to me.

For a $700 MSRP priced just for the front bumper. it better fit like OEM! LOL Of course I did not pay 700 for my since my is used off of my buddy 180sx he imported from Japan!
