Lemons dont describe Venus's quality. I'd say its a mix between a pineapple and a bruised green apple with a dash of rotten banana. Too many horror stories went on about Venus from many different 240SX forums.

I ahve a front clip from venus and got the swap done fine and the turbo is in almost brand new condition and there a no leaks anywhere I have no problems with venus. If they are good enough for sport compact car mag to use then they are okay in my book.:ylsuper

I got an RB20 front clip from Venus. Make sure you specify that you want a flatbed truck for shipping. My turbo was blown and it came w/o an intake. I sent them pics and My new turbo and intake should be here in a couple days.:D

I'd prefer getting a motor that will run if installed correctly and fluids changed with minor parts replacements. Having a blown turbo doesn't sound like it was a good "hand picked" motor.

Phase 2 has very nice stuff, try them if you want a good motor.

well heavythrottle sent my boy a sr20 with a smashed MAF and no signal wire on the starter and no intake... and they are like freaking gods to you guys!!!! everyone makes mistakes, but ehhh my motors a lemon so venus sucks!!!

and SCC didnt even purchase their motor directly i dont think and if they did they got a hook up cause after all they are a major RAG .... 1500$ for a clip, yeah right please!

ive herd great stuff about nippon. an import shop here in town gets most of its engines from nippon and all of them have been good. their most recent engine shipped in (a honda F20A engine) was absolutely immaculate, had very low miles and arrived 3 days after being orderd
