Im thinking of getting some Spec-D custom tail lights like these: http://www.specdtuning.com/07-09-nissan ... ights.html But I cant find any pictures of Altima coupes with them on to see what they look like and not sure if they will look stupid.

Heres the closest I found, the only pic i found: http://articles.dashzracing.com/wp-cont ... -09-10.jpg

Or do you think just some black dark tail lights would be better like this:

But do note my car will be white.

Thanks

search on Ebay, (like http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NISSAN-A ... 2683wt_939) then you can smoke them with vinyl or nite shades paint to your taste.

I have a black and white theme throughout my whole car so I just blacked out my stock tails with nightshades followed by a clear coat and a lot of wet sanding to get a glossy look. Not a fan of the aftermarket tails by themselves on white coupes.

All the altezza-style tailights are pretty much butt ugly IMO. I would pretty much always prefer tinted tailights over altezzas, but also IMO, tailights that are COMPLETELY blacked out don't look that good. It's all personal preference though, as you shouldn't let others' opinions dictate what kinda mods you do to your car.

Okay yeah, Ill probably do some tinted tailights then like what czonin said, except i didnt really understand the process he did, I would have to take it to someone to have them tint it im not a good pro myself. Wheres a good palce online to buy simple cheap Tints for the tailights that are applied over it, then ill take it to a shop to have done

Bluebatmobile.net he uses paypal

as far as I know LBC off the forums sells them as well.

Both use vinyl and the rears are a huge pain to put on so if you aren't comfortable then I would def have someone do it for you.

In my experience with the rears I decided that it was better to just paint them. The coupe tails have a grove that goes around the outside edge of the light and when the vinyl is stretched over it, it leaves a a gap that can easily be punctured which is what happened to mine, so I just painted them with VHT nite shades. You can get it from orielly's or autozone or some equivalent. Painting is way easier than installing the overlay, but you do have to sand them lightly and it would be hard to go back to the stock finish if you decided to. So pick your poison lol
