I'm looking at getting a set of Corbeau VX2000's for my 240. Does anyone have any experience with Corbeau? Any comment on quality, comfort, etc.?

:help

two of my friends have the CR1's in their cars. one pair is in a 93 civic hatch, and another is in my friends s13. i personally like corbeau a lot... they are well constructed, the price is right, and they look really clean. however, some people have slight problems with the slider/bracket alignment.

Leon,

Thanks for your input. I like the CR1 but am too wide for that seat. My lat spread is HUGE! LOL.

What specifically is problematic with the slider/bracket adjustment?

repo, my friends civic with the CR1's, just had to use a lot of muscle to attach the brackets to the car. but they did go in, and not without welding or any of that bull****. i personally havent seen the seat you want in person, but the pic doesnt please me too much. i think corbeau makes most of their seats in "plus" sizes for guys with HUGE lat spreads. send them an email and see what they can do. - LEON

Heh, bummer. I guess it's a good thing that I have lats if I'm going to install these seats then? J/k, I'm not that huge, just bigger than the skinny little ricer kids. As far as the way they look, well I would like Recaros but I've got other stuff I want for it as well, like a brake upgrade, rollbar, harnesses, SR or CA, Hoosiers, Altezzas, etc. Oh wait, did I say Altezzas? :-P

Tino, what are you talking about?

Redline240, they retail for $449 apiece. My retailer locally sells them for $399 per, not including brackets and such. Check out his site: http://www.tracksidesupply.com The tuner seat section isn't done yet, but if you need a race seat, well he's got 'em.

Ah, gotcha. Seems I'm tracking like a beta. I'll be putting in new seats if it doesn't sell, which it doesn't look like it's going to. If I don't get some interest shortly, I probably won't sell it. You're still keeping yours, right?
