I need a clutch here in the next weak, if it lasts that long, it's dieing quik. Heavythrottle has the Spec Stage 1 for $250 so I am thinking that is the cheapest perfomance clutch I am going to be finding, but does anyone know of deals on Spec/ACT clutches right now?

P.S. Does anyone know if a SPEC or ACT would be able to take the same amount or one more or less of abuse from a stock engine? Like clutch kicks and whatnot...

"My abuse" is kinda subjective, no? Get an OEM spec clutch, allow for proper break-in, and cut down on the hooliganism. You'll save money, but I suspect the idea of installing a boring factory spec clutch isn't too appealing.:D Which is it...save money? or have a cool performance clutch? Can't have both. I say get a clutch from the local parts house and tone down the driving until you can afford to do otherwise.

Just go with the OEM, and it will last you a year as long as you don't kill it every single day. I went with OEM, and I'm not easy with a clutch and it's doing fine.
