What do you mean? Are you worried about the wheels being sunken, sticking out, not clearing the coilovers? Give some specs on how low you're planning on dropping your car, which Tein coilovers you're using, your wheel size, offset, and tire size. Then people will be able to give you some better advice.

I am using tein type hr coil overs and i was wanting to but some wheels that are 18x8 +40mm but i pretty sure they will not work because the wheels i have now are 16x7 +38 mm and the tire is touching the coilover the tires are 225 50 16 they are a little wide i guess but the wheel is close and 8 wide will be even closer and more offset too i was just wondering if anyone else was having this problem too and if some 350z wheels like the track wheels or some of the g35 wheels will work their offset is in the mid to low 30s

thanks noah

Whoa dude, slow down. Please revise that "sentance" with some periods. I got a migrane half way through...

18x8 +40 sucks. You dont want those.

Now, do you have an s13 or s14?

If you have an s14, 350z wheels and the G35 wheels will fit. If you have an s13, ask this dude about his 350z wheels.zer...24211

I am using tein type hr coil overs. The wheels i was looking at wheels that are 18x8 +40mm. I pretty sure they will not work because the wheels i have now are 16x7 +38 mm and the tire is touching the coilover. The tires are 225 50 16 they are a little wide i guess. I like the 350z track wheels or some of the g35 wheels will work their offset is in the mid to low 30s. I guess what I wanna know is if i get wheels with a lower offset will they be farther away from my coil overs even if they are wider. I also wanna know if you can even run a 225 in the front. sorry I must have been on crack when I wrote this post. noah

225 was definately too wide for that size, and yes those new sizes would be even worse

350 track wheels are 18x8 +30 front, 18x8.5 +33 rear, not the best sizes but they work pretty good..run a 225/40/18 all around on them and youd be fine

those offsets suk. any wheel with that offset will suk with c/o. either nix the wheels, find other wheels with better offsets, or get some spacers. done. done. and done.
