I am looking for some sort of OBD2 scanning software and cable. Has anyone tried to use the Nissan consult cable?

I would like to do a few things with this. like Throttle sensitivity(like the blitz), Program Keys, Remotes, TPS, maybe have some cool interfaces with the blue-tooth, radio, ABS, etc, etc The list is endless and it would be nice to have full control of your own car.

I am looking at this... it looks like a Vag-Com cable..

I know it can be done... I have a GT1 for my BMW and SCT and access to a NGS for my FORD.

Only thing used by anyone on here has been the ScanGauge2 product. Haven't heard of anything else.

Yea I have something similar for my Ford. I am looking to do a bit more than just scan... maybe I should change the title programming or flashing ECU.

Thanks for the response.

Try contacting Bullydog:

http://www.bullydog.com/

They are working on stuff for the 2.5 and 3.5 altima's, maybe it's possible to do something for the Versa as well.

Thanks all, I am going to have a chat with the local dealer here and see what they are using. I must be able to build something for less and do more. Ideally, I would love to have it run in a VM so the image can be distributed to other folks.

OK so the dealers use a Consult 3

It looks to be a bit pricey. However I would just need the head and software. Most folks would have the PC already.

If anyone has some interest or would like to help out. I am looking for a deal on one.

Here is one on eBayhttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors....m245
