Anyone have any experience with XXR or RUFF Wheels?

So, I have had my blue A/C for a few months now and I want to get some new rims and tires. I want to move up to 18" wheels. I am leaning towards a black wheel with a polished lip, but I could literally look forever and end up just not buying.

So help a brotha out and give me your opinion.

Currently, my blue, 2.5 has a spoiler and smoked tint on the windows. I shaved the rear a month ago.If it helps, here are some planned mods for the next couple of years.body kit from stillen or fox, new grille (undecided style, may be included w/stillen kit), Artisan exhaust, new lowered shocks/springs, LED taillights, maybe a new cold air intake.Photos:

nice coupe, i personally like the black rims w/ blue lip.... i think it'll compliment your car since it's blue also

I could be wrong but I thought dangeris has XXR wheels the ones with the red pinstripe around them.

DanGeris has the same wheels on his red coupe with the red lip .... I vote for blue lip

I have the XXR 006 Black with Polish lip. They look real nice with the car lowered. I always prefer the polish lip over color though.

So my vote is Black with Polish lip. The color lip is too much I say for the 2" lip now if the was just a ring of blue on the outer area with a 1" lip or so then it would look better.

I have XXR's (used to be called SportMax) on my Cube.

Cheap, but good enough for a daily driver.

They're not a bad wheel, just don't pay too much for them.

Yup...I have the XXR 006 wheels and love 'em. Like Hitman said, they're good for daily driving. Thinking of upgrading to 20's next year

Get the xxr006! i would have if i knew about them before i got what im rollin on now.the ones Dangeris has looks great, the red blends well. i wonder if the xxr006 in blue would blend with our color coupe as well..post pics when u get'em!

ive had 3 sets of sportmax/xxr rims before and yea they are great rims. now if im not mistaken theres a blue coupe who did try what you want to byut the blue was off from the car blue which made it look funny..as long as you dont mount them you should still be able to return them..i ordered my xxr black/red from wheelmax.com so check them out...my next set in jan. are going to be another set of xxr's

Man. I thought this forum emailed when someone replied. Thanks for the input guys. I really like the blue lip or obvious reasons, but I am afraid that the blue will be off.I will probably end up with the 006 in black with a polished lip.

I am not planning on racing, so I think these will do me just fine. And since my car is a daily driver, I think they will work out just fine from the advice I have received here.

There are pics of the XXR 006 w/blue lip on a blue coupe on this forum. I saw them a while ago. I actually think I saw that combo on two different coupes. You will have to search for them. Looked good IMO.

I jus ordered some xxr 006 in 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 staggered, polished lip and gunmetal face... got it for a really good price 400 delivered to my house...gonna use it as my winter set... and take the mrr off until spring time.

i ordered them off ebay....i don't think it was a wheel vendor though, jus someone bought them and decided not to use them and put them back up for sale...i was just browsing ebay and came across them and the bid had a few minutes left and luckily i won... i believe they retail for around 700ish if im not mistaken.
