I'm looking into exhausts and I've narrowed it down to 4 that are in my price range that I like. They are the Buddy Club Exhausts (Pro-Spec II), Megan Racing Turbo Type (Since I have the MR header, downpipe and test pipe), the Blitz Nur Spec R (The most expensive of the 4 and the Apexi N1. This is for a 95 S14 with stock KA. I'm not concerned about the loudness as much as I am concerned about how it sounds. I don't want the typical 4 banger fart can noise I like the deep raspyness that Scoobs (WRX for those who dont know) produce and thats generally what I am looking for, I'm also looking for it to pop. I love the way the Blitz sounds especially with a test pipe and header and thats generally the sound I'm looking for but I am whincing at the thought up dumping 600 for a cat back when I can get one of similar quality and sound for less which is why I like the MR and BC exhausts.

So my point is this, just how loud is the Pro Spec II and how does it sound on the S14 with the stock KA? I've heard it on civics and it actually sound pretty basdass (if you can get past the annoying trunk rattle.) I think I might've heard it on an S13 but I'm not sure. Are the other Buddy Club exhausts as good and produce the same sound.

Please don't turn this into a you should go with such and such exhaust, if it's not on my top 4 then it's not in my price range or I'm not interested (ie I would kill for a Fujitsubo Power Getter exhaust or a JIC full Ti exhaust but they are not anywhere near my price range) Also I don't want this to turn into an argument over backpressure...I just want some actual user reviews of the Buddy Club Exhausts on the S14. Thanks

Also who has it for the cheapest? Import Options has it for around 350 and Phase 2 has it for 400 (The Pro-Spec 2)

bcs2 will be loud. small resonator(if you can call it that, looks like mesh screen on the inside of the pipe) no exhaust and a 4 inch tip(which acts as a small megaphone)friend has one on his ka24e, and i love it. but with testpipe it was super loud.and as for who has it for the cheapest i know a local guy carries them for the super cheap. ebay might have them for cheap also.keep in mind, most any exhaust you get youll have to remove your tow hook one way or another. with the BC we couldnt get it installed without taking it off. and unbolting it looked too complicated, so we just cut it off.

I know I know, old thread right. Whatever, in any case I just ordered up the Spec II for my S13 with RB20 I'll def get on the sound clips once she's in and running I definitely will not be getting a test pipe but rather a decent flowing cat and yes a 3" DP with divorced wastegate will affect sound a lil bit... At any rate, I too would like to hear some Spec II's so maybe this will gain some interest and someone will post some clips or thoughts after reviewing. I really hated getting pulled over in my Honda every week it seemed but never got a ticket considering the law is pretty lenient I hope the current set-up doesn't kill me.
