I am putting a 98 KA in my 95. Both are Altima motors. There is a difference in the cams because the 95 has a dual timing chain and the 98 has a single. with that said....240 folks used to take the exhaust cams from an older 240 and use them, i believe, as their intake cams for better lift, power, and performance. i wonder if i can just take the 95 exhaust cam and put it in the 98 head after removing the dual timing gear and replacing it with the single timing gear. The cams do bolt in slightly different, but probably not enough for any changes.

Any info at all? Anyone else try this? Or woudl it be better to find an old 240 exhaust cam and use it.

Last but not least....Is this right that i would use an exhaust cam as my intake cam or do i continue to use it as an exhaust?
