Anyone have an LCD screen in their 240 that is not in the radio spot?

Just curious.. I'd like to get a 7" screen but I dont want it in the radio slot since I have something else there. So I'm looking for other ideas.. it would be really great it I could have it so that it is completely hidden when turned off.

Anyone?

i did this with my radio, you could put a indash flip-out there if you wanted too. i like it this way, its much easier to see while im driving, plus now there is room for my gauges and boost controller.

Huh. Ok, interesting.. I wouldnt have thought you could fit a stereo in there. You get points for thinking outside the box, that's for sure.

It's wicked easy and looks hot. I trimmed the suction mount to go up in my mirror cover so it's as high as it can bedisregard the hurst shift knob, i threw it on for my first drive 5 speed And just for reference the cord to do that can be found at most stores that sell detectors and I wired it into the ACC and a ground near the sunroof

a metal support bar and alot of zipties lol, your have to pull the ducting out and tape it off. i used that metal heater repair tape. then you have to cut part of the dash a little bit to get it to sit back far enough. i cut it just enough so it kinda holds the radio in there, then put a support under it and rapped about 6 zipties around it. lol, its a 240 so its gotta be getto
