Anyone have any advice on the 2003 g35 sedan. Thinking about gettting one that is in great shape. Has about 65,000 miles on it and in mint condition. They are asking $13,000 for it, any advice? Any negatives about that year/model.

03-04 both have problems with the stereo HU and AC circuitry.

Also, brakes were a bit weak with a lot of dust.

13K for an 03 is a bit much at this point. Either talk them down or look to a newer vehicle.

I've had my 2003.5 6MT for 3 years now and it's given me ZERO problems. I've heard of people having issues with their head unit but I haven't. The only issue I've had are the front brakes squeeking...

I've put 60k in three years and now I'm at 130,000 and it's still running strong. Just make sure you do all of the maintenance on it and she'll be good to you!

I prefer to drive my 2003 sedan 6MT over my 2006 coupe 5AT b/c of the convenience of having the extra space and having full control of the shifting... the only downside is the interior is much more refined on the 2005+

I'd have to agree with what was said above by Naz and tollbooth. But with bugs or without 13k for an 03 is kinda steep; I saw a guy get an already turbo'd 03 sedan in good condition for 13k. I got my 05mt with 54,000 mi for 15k. But what I hear a lot of people say it to get the newest one you can afford, because just like thahman said the interiors, and exteriors for that matter, improved with the 05s.
