Hey, I've been a member forever but haven't really been active. I used to have a 240sx but now have a 2004 G35 Coupe 6MT. My current "motor" mods are Injen CAI and the Nismo S Tune Exhaust. I was just curious if anyone was running cams and if so what kind of performance are we really looking at and how does it run after the install. I know it's a pricey mod and I've read the brochures just curious to hear from those who have done the install. JWT and Nismo are the ones that have my attention at the moment. Thanks for any input =)

Not many CAM upgraded cars on NICO that I've seen. The main reason is the cost is high for the HP gained. FI is a more economical choice

Most people don't have work put into their engines. I know of a few people that have swapped cams. The JWT S2 cams are what they decided to go with. Other cams have caused low idle issues and weird lope...

If I ever get cams my first choice as of right now would be JWT S2's.

Hard to go wrong with Tomei Poncams, I am pretty positive they have it for the VQ. How your tuner sets up the cam is important too, along with tuning.
