Anyone have a transmission to get rid of?

Well I was out dirving around earlier and went to shift into 5th, and nothing happends except for a free rev. it stays in the 5th gear position but is not in gear. When i try to push up anymore it just grinds away. Also second gear and fourth gear grind when shifting at any speed but grandma slow ( waiting for the revs to drop to idle then shifting slowly). I changed the transmission fluid once before to see if that would help, and it looked like someone dumped a can of glitter into my fluid it looked like liquid metal. NOT GOOD!!! So now im in search of another transmission. Looking to spend no more then like $350-400 shipped. e-mail me at [email protected] if ya got one. thanks -Jake

I've got a KA-E transmission I'd let go for cheap. It works fine (it's actually in the car right now), but I'm pulling it out soon because I only had it in while I was having the CA transmission rebuilt. Shoot me an email and lemme know.

there is a thread by a guy named meatish, he just swapped his ca into a S12 and he used the s12 transmission, hes got the transmission up for sale. dunno how much he wants but prolly not too much. he might be new but i know him personally so hes a good guy.

No, it will have the KA-E bellhousing. I currently have my CA bellhousing on the front of the KA-E transmission. I will need the housing for my newly rebuilt transmission. If you've already got a CA transmission and just need a replacement that's in decent shape, this one should work fine for you.
