anyone have a MimoUSA CAST Turbo Manifold. The pic is not a sr20det cast manifold. Do you think they are really cast?

bottom mount T25 $176.08http://uk.deniz.com/cgi-bin/ci...00015

Top mount T3 $228.90http://uk.deniz.com/cgi-bin/ci...00015

why did you make two threads discussing cheap exhaust manifolds? If I was going cast then I would just take my stock manifold and have it honed and extruded which I will be having done anyway. I am going to run the tomei manifold -- to see how I like it but if or when it cracks then I will have the honed stock manifold to replace it with. There is not much to sr20det manifolds they are relatively small and if you find a cheap well made thick gauge stainless unit -- i would give it a try -- i bought the tomei cause I found it on sale with free shipping.

$500+ for extrude honing. That's without shipping. I didn't make 2 threads. I posted the top and bottom mount mani's. It must be nice to have money to spend on doing things twice. I don't.

I only wanted to know if anyone had this mani. I was looking for a alternative for extrude honing the stocker because I know that the OEM mani is the best. That's why tomei designed it the way they did.

it is like 60 bucks to get the stock manifold drilled out (I know a couple of people that can do it)-- as far as the 500 bucks that is what a tomei costs -- you can buy another one to run for a while until you get the stocker back from honing-- I hope I miss read your thread wrong but who charges 500 bucks to drill around on an iron manifold?

Extrude Honing is different than Drilling out a manifold.

that looks like a cool process and all but why not just have a high performance shop do it for you. I live close to a guy that ports and polishes and has done award winning work for the likes of John Shepard -- (under 7 sec DSM)..... Why would someone pay that kinda of money for an extrude process??????

gosh I forgot how awesome his car actually is

A stock manifold that has been extrude honed and swain coated will out last and out perform almost any stock design manifold that is made for the SR... There are exceptions to the rule, but I don't want to spend $900 on a manifold that could possibly crack on me, No thanks. I'd run a Tomei unit though.
