I am wanting to pick up some 20in. Leon Hardiritt's for my 07 M. Since I'm a noob I"m still a little hazzy on what offset is best.Wanting to run a low offset but not sure how low I can go. I'm not wanting to roll or pull the fenders because its my daily. If its a real low offset will I need to run a spacer?

If u have pics of M's running low offset 20's or 19's, I would like to see some.

Welcome to NICO!

And to the VIP Forum. Do you have a set of Harditt's you are looking at already? What are those offsets? Wheel size? Let us know so maybe we can be of a little more assistance.

Wow. $3200 for used wheels? Sadly enough, there are few M members here in the VIP Forums. I wish there were more. Hopefully you will be the guinea pig. BTW, it's great to see another Tennessean in here. Lasoyafan is also from Knoxville.

U don't have to cut anything, cuz our M's dont have an inner lip like some cars.

If u have pics of M's running low offset 20's or 19's, I would like to see some.
For reference:

OEM 18s 18x8 +47 offsetOEM 19s 19x8.5 +50 offset...

you can see how "weak" this is already.

there are tons of combos that will play into what you can do and what you want. Those low offsets will take some work.

For a "conservative" flush look I am running:

20x8.5 +36 245/3520x10 +38 275/30

my tires are "fat" and not streched and I wouls say +30/31 on the front and +36/+37 on the rear would be perfect for a conservative daily droped on coilovers. These are good for daily and you can see they are fairly flush.

[IMG][/IMG]

if you want more VIP/aggresive offsets like the specs you posted you will need coilovers/bags, stretched tires and will need to do some work on your fenders - if you want in the single 0ffset numbers. Yes our rear fenders are already rolled but with offsets in the teens and below...work will be needed....

this M is on bags and is running specs in the 20s I believe, no body work done so he is going even lower offsets...

[IMG][/IMG]

the lower bags/coilovers will allow the wheels to camber in and thus allow the lower offsets...

Either way, that would be sweet. I could deal with 6" lip all around.

Regardless, Deesy, your offsets, whatever they may be, are sick.

Hi I am wondering if you know how wide the width and deep dish offset of Work VS-XX in 18 and 19 inches that would fit in my car? Thanks.

Some inside info on your current (stock) fitment would be good. I would say (depending on what suspension setup you plan for) 18 x 8 or 9, +35 all around. FWD w/ staggered is FTL.

Hmm. I would like to do 18x8 front 18x19 in rear but double digit offset 35 sound like not much of difference in lip since the cari s FWD. I pretty much wanted to do deep dish by hitting lowest single digit offset is possible even to roll out the fender, the high-end coilover would be swap in. Thanks.

Well, that's the thing, getting low offset fitment on a FWD car is a little harder to achieve seeing as how FWD usually does not allow much room for low/negative offsets. That's why I would also like to know what your stock offset is.
