Anyone have a front plate mount they can spare?

As ugly as they are, front plates are required here in the wild west. Of course, my car does not have a mount for a front plate so I was wondering if you lucky folks who don't need one might be able to part with the mount. You will of course be reimbursed for shipping costs (normally I provide a case of beer for this kind of stuff, but I don't think it would fit in the mail bag...). This is for a 2001 I30.Thanks gang, --Mike

I don't know what your bumper looks like exactly, but I chose not to buy a bracket and mounted my front plate directly to my bumper. Works great. However, I have a 99 Maxima, and it had holes already in the bumper. Good luck to you.

Judging from the look of your front bumper, you could probably get away with drilling 2 holes in your bumper and that should keep your plate snug up against the flat part of your bumper. That's my opinion, not a fact by any means.

You might find a universal plate mount at your local auto store or Wal-Mart. Your just like me with the cars. We have 5 drivers in the household and have 8 cars. Two of the cars are weekend toys.
