My dad's is the 24th. Yes, he gets the shaft on presents. I try to buy 3 good ones just to offset some of the screwing.

He told me once as a kid he got 1 encyclopedia from 2 aunts/uncles, for both his christmas and birthday present. Talk about getting hosed.
