sounds expensive

but a used one isnt. Sometimes they pop up on ebay for cheap, but i think your best bet is to look for one in the classified section of this site and other of people parting out engines.

that way one should only be about 50 bones

I think I might have one for you. Please send a pic if you can of the one you have so I can compare it with the one I have. I got a engine from a junkyard that came out of a 95 ka24de but I compared it to my 91 fastback ka24de and the cover is different. So to be sure send me a pic. If it is the one then I will send it to you for 35.00 plus shipping.

yeah S14 valve covers are different than s13 valve covers. Hole size, plus slightly different hole pattern

Well I think the one I have will work...... if after you pay for it and I ship it and it doesnt fit, just ship it back to me and I will give the money back, no problem.....

35 bucks, thats a steal too. you could have it powdercoated for an extra 50 bucks on top of that, and even then you would still be getting a great deal

sorry i didnt mean to scare anyone. But ps, if you plan on using that s14 head or upper timing cover, you need an s14 valve cover, thats just how it is. Otherwise sell it off. I have one im not using yet, but its slowly becoming polished, which is always an option....

this sale should be fine, if he wants an s14 cover it will fit regardless of the s14 year, and vice-versa, sorry if anyone misunderstood

I really dont need this one. Like I said it came off a engine that came out of the junk yard. The head was shot, dirty and a little rusty, so I got another head that was ported and when I tried to put the cover on I realized that the ported head was off a s13 DE. I will just reuse the one off the engine I am replacing this rebuilt one with.

I also have the factory shims off the lifters (16) if you know of anybody who needs them. I have heard that these are about 10.00 a piece, WOW, for a little metal disk. I will trade this for other things I need like the DE wiring harness for my other 240 project car, an ECU or a black dash......
