Hi M37 owners, i'm a Nissan fan for years, I have two FX35 now, one for me and one for my wife to carry two kids around (2yrs and 4 yrs)

now, my family is getting bigger, a new born is on the way. I did try, no way can fit three cart seats in the back of FX, and the QX is kind of big to park around the city.
so, I'm thinking about the M37,, I had a I-35 before, from my best memory, the back of I-35 was really big and wide. then the M37 pop up in my mind.

I was wondering, is there anyone has the same situation like mine? anyone fitted two booster seat and baby cart base in the back of M37 ?
all advises will be appreciated,,
thanks

Three car seats would be a really tight fit. I put two car seats for testing in my 2006 m45 and there is no way I'll be able to fit a third one. I have Britax Large car seat if that helps any. My other son will be using a booster seat and even with that, I think it will still be tight. I have a 0 arrival this June, 5, and 11 year old boys. My wife told me to just give it up and look into vans. I left it at that.

GOod luck!

you will not be able to put two boosters and a baby seat in the back (properly). the problem is that the back is really made for two people to sit comfortably with the middle hump being elevated (and not very comfortable due to lack of padding). I even have a hard time with one of my boosters (which is on a wider side) to fit. The two seating positions are contoured in a way that leave very narrow flat spots for the boosters. I guess if you had one of the super narrow baby seats and two of the super narrow boosters it could be done.
However, there's only one way to find out - gotta get to the dealer for that test drive :)

You will be able to fit 2 car seats but no 3rd seat as a booster. I have a 5yr, 2yr and 10 month old.
I was only able to fit 2 car seats the big Britax one (just like Jhuerto), my 5yr had to seat in the middle without a booster (not safe but I had no choice, the MDX was in the shop) and he was pretty tight there.
One thing I highly recommend (like Mjkkb2 mentioned about the seats being narrow) buy a car seat protector to protect the leather, the car seats will leave creases.

that triple seat is one cool contraption!!! I don't think it will work well in M due to seat not being very flat across.

I agree about the car seat protector, especially for a baby seat where a high tightening force is used to latch it securely.

The Clek Foonf is designed to sit 3 in a row in most cars…..

A really nice heavy and safe seat too……expensive though...

My issue is slightly different. I have FOUR kids (pictured below). When I had the Escalade and folded the rear seats down, they each had some room, but in the M, space is much tighter. I'm looking into getting an old Ford Bronco (similar to the OJ vehicle) but in great shape to haul the kids about.

When my M was getting the pedal recall, we drove a Jx around for awhile. We have a Toyota Sienna and we like our Sienna much better then the JX. Jx is fancy but not near the room of a minI van. I've tried to buy a QX 3 times and have ended up with mini vans and my current M. Qx is nice but really not that much room in it, plus it's huge. But if i knew my M was going to get this bad of gas mileage I would have bought the QX.

To sum up once you get a min van you can't go back to anything else. My wife hated the idea, but once we got one can't get her out of it.

my father has a Toyota Sequoia, full size SUV. I will say no big difference to a Mini Van,, just much taller, ( a little harder to get in for the older ppl ),, That's the reason I was thinking about QX,,
also, the big size real 4x4, has better advantage to deal with the mother nature.
i have a friend is FBI, he told me that ,, try to drive as big as we can on the road.. safer for everyone inside the car..
that's why we always see the FBI driving jumbo size car, they need to protect themselves first.

I had a Mercedes ML320…….Was a very tight fit when my crew of 5 went somewhere. (me, wife, 2 kids, and mother-in-law)…It was also tight in our QX56 that we sold last year...

I traded the ML on a M37 weekend before last and picked up a used Honda Odyessey this week. We had a QX56 up until last year and the 3rd row is very tight and getting in and out of it is a complete pain in the a**. If you have kids, nothing comes close to a minivan, nothing. Getting the crew in and out of the QX was a production, with the minivan, jump in-jump-out….quick…. Also, the Odyssey has better driving manners than the QX….The Odyssey is by far and away the most car-like of all mini-vans as far as driving experience. If you do get a full-size SUV look at the Chevy Suburban. GM does the full-size vehicles really well….The Suburban has more room than the QX56..

i have no problem to fit two kids with car seats and my wife on the second row of the Sequoia ( third row are dog seats )
QX is smaller than the Sequoia? both should be full size, right?
since you owned QX and M37,, can you tell me that if I have any luck I can fit two booster(small size) and baby car base inside M37? (I like the M more than QX)
normally, I will just go out with wife and kids, only use the third row one or twice a year ( i borrowed my father's Sequoia), but the third baby is on the way, so, I think i need to buy one and give up the FX.

I would think they would fit.....I can say for sure as I only have need for 2 seats. Thus past weekend we went out and my wife sat in the middle between a full size baby seat using LATCH and a oversized Recaro booster....she fit and she is about as wide a a regular booster (she would die knowing I was referring to the width of her rear end here)....lol

as you guys stated, the M is tight in the back.... One vehicle that surprised me regarding room was the new Chevy Silverado (crew cab)... I rented one during my stay in AZ for a week with the family...I was really pleased. I could fit both child seats in the back AND had enough room for an adult to sit in the middle (between a booster chair and a car seat)...the front was also roomy....I'm 6'3 and about 220lbs, so the leg room was great....plus the fuel savings management (switching from V8 to 4 cylinders) was nice...

I wonder if the Titan has a large crew cab....hmmmm

BTW Larz, great looking dogs, brotha!! I also rescue dogs....I have an American Staffordshire (light brown with white)....also rescued a German Shepard mix (passed on)....

Whaaaaaaat?

I have 3 car seats in the back of my 2007 M45; that is WHY I bought one. You can totally fit three.

My 4 year old, 3 year old, and 9 month old (rear-facing convertible) all fit in the back easily--like the wife's MDX.

That's gotta be a tight fit. Mind posting a pic of your setup?

Hi, do you put the rear-facing 9 month old in the middle? or on the side?
would you like to post a pic to show the way you set up?

Thanks
