I'm a new Altima owner, and just like many of you, I just discovered the hard way that unless I invest $1500 to $2500 for a TPMS/ECU programmer, I just bought myself for a bi-annual subscription to the car dealer to shut down the TPMS light when I will swap summer and winter wheels. (I know, I can also use duct tape or remove the light bulb)

Any of the members here have heard or have bought these TPMS sensors from Orange Electronics?

Their TPMS sensors seem to come as blanks, which you reprogram with the same ID as your existing sensors. Your car will then be happy with either set of wheels, as it sees the same TPMS sensor IDs.

Sounds like your Get Out Of Jail ticket... But their web site looks a bit suspicious. Their sensors also come in 2 parts, which makes me worry about slow leaks.

Any experience with this, anyone ? I searched the forum and saw a gazillion posts related to TPMS, but none regarding this Orange Electronics company.

I posted the same message in an other forum, but no one seems to have seen or heard about them before....

...Ben...

I have never heard of the Orange Electronics company either, but their sensors look similar (not exactly like) to factory units in your tires. Looks like you will be spending $200 for the re-programmer and another $160 for the sensors (4 total)?

Just a note on TPMS sensors and summer and winter tire rotation.I do not have the TPMS sensors in my winter tires and rims. When I put on my winter tires the TPMS warning light came on.When I put back the summer tires with the TPMS sensors the tires/sensors automatically paired . The Light went off.
