Anyone has DSM 1G BOV on KA-T???

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Hey, everyone!

I'm picking parts for my KA-T project. So looking for some info. Does anybody have 1G DSM BOV, how is it? Another question is if you plumb it back into intake?Thanks a lot everybody.

I have one on my ka-t. It works good and is well worht the 20 bucks I paid for it. T o route back in you just need some hose.

I'm running one open to the atmosphere, and it seems to work just fine.

closest to the throttle body is optimal in any turbo settup

if you run it before the mafs you will avoid running rich in between shifts. therfore vent into the atmosphere with no probs. the only thing with the 1st gen bov is that anything beyond 18lbs. you will need to crush it. but overall its the best you will get for the price.

Hey mishka im using a dsm bov on, mycar. Only mines a little modified. I made a cap on the blow side, which is spring loaded, so as soon as it blows off it closes. This provides a better a/d's so my car doesn't backfire as much. I also have a safc, to stop the car from stalling. Its a good choice.
