Anyone had this problem?

basicly in any given gear i have less power then normal... and it seems to go in and out...one second id be hauling *** next thing i know car jsut sort of stops accelerating for a sec then goes at it again. its sort of gradual.

now i know for a fact that my clutch is slipping and old at 130k(dont know if original) but seems to slip only at 6k shift 2nd gear.

i dont see how this could be a misfire because CEL never goes on and from exp misfire taht serive wiill set it off.

i replaced the fuel filter thinking fuel pressure was too low and not enough fuel was getting to the engine. has new plugs wires etc.

i am thinking it's the clutch slipping BUT at same time i dont because when lcutch slips its a constant slip it doesnt majicly grip all of a sudden... am i wrong?

i was also thinking that fuel pump was not able to supply constant proper fuel pressure and thus lacking . ... i think so because this is ecatly how rev limiter works on my Accent... at 6.5k car jsut stops it doent just bounce off the reve limiter.

now i am dont want to do the clutch just yet since i ahve not decided wether i want to put a low milege Drivetrain in the car or not .

so waht do you think guys?

i had the same problem with my car, all i did was replace the fuel pump with a warlboro. and it fixed it right up
