So you are putting a VH in your 350Z but your asking to see a "guide" of putting the VH in the Z32? I'm guessing because I haven't even heard of anyone putting a VH in a Z33?

I will look around for a link but as far as I know there isn't a straight up "how-to" guide. I do know that a lot of the swap pieces are custom made.

You are correct, and i appreciate youre looking around! I would be suprised if theres an actual VH45 Z33 guide but my plans for now is to use the VH45 Z32 guide as.. guidance. Looking for wiring guidance specifically.
As far as i know theres isnt any/many VH45 in Z33s been completed but hopefully ill manage to complete it in some way. I will be doing and fabricating most things myself as far as electrics, brackets, mounts etc, also looking into possible driveshaft modification, theres a company specialized in that 3 hours drive from here. Luckily thers transmission adapters around to he Z33 transmission so i wont have to dig into that too. Im currently looking into the VH45/Z32/Z33 flywheel/clutch/starter issues, clearance, spacers etc.
Had a company for acouple of years doing similar things but not this mix in particular. Built the first RB30 Skyline here in Sweden, gave me some headache but i will definitely get more of that now ;)

if you have facebook, go to the group VH45DE. That group is trememdously helpful, day in day out.

Adapter for the VH45 > z33 http://www.ebay.com/itm/VH45DE-VK45DE-E ... 0838748267. not sure of any manuals except for threads on here and on all the other z related forums. utilize the search in the z33 section..

I would hit up mazworx or xcessive to see if they have anything for engine mounts for your swap.

Didnt realize theres was a VH45DE FB group, sounds like the perfect place to get some quick help/tints/tips :)
Thats one of the companies ive seen that has adapter plates but unfortunatly they dont ship internationally, lucky i got a friend with a US Post box (?) so that i can get help to get my hands on it anyway :)

Will check with mazworx and xcessive, no need to fabricate pieces that someone else can do with a better, more factory-like finish!

Where are you from? There's a few international people in the FB group, but a lot of them are from the US. I also know the owner of performanceVH, you can meet him on the group, or here if he still uses nico often.

if you go to the q45 forums or VH45 forum on Nico, Wes can hook you up with an adapter plate too.

Im from the tiny and cold Sweden. You dont see many VH45s here, havent heard of one swapped yet, though im sure someone wouldve tried if they had got their hands on one, they werent sold here as far as i know. Im really looking forward to that FB group, sounds like a good way to get the knowledge and ideas that is needed.

Great to hear that the adapter plates arent impossible to get, that is one part im wasnt looking forward to fabricate if i could get one. Ill definitely check with him when time comes, for now the car isnt even registrered in Sweden (hopefully will be in a month), bought it in UK, half the price and i dont mind the RHD since ive had RHD cars for the last 7 years or so. After it have been registrered its off to the garage and pulling her apart.

oh your cars rhd? Get ready for another problem, at least on the 300zx the clutch master smacks right into the valve cover so ull have to deal with that issue as well

Lovely, looking forward to more custom work.. :P Actually, to have the 350 legal with the vh45 i have to alter the complete braking system so this helps me legalize it wether i want it or not but good to know about it so that i keep it in mind planning the swap :)
