$511 each? No thanks....going with junker or a part out, anyone parting out a 97-01 right now? Obviously, low mileage and age are factors. Thanks.

Picked up two arms from a junkyard a state away from a Q with 102k, not bad. Also grabbed two calipers and have two new OEM tie rods to put on. This thing is very wiggly right now, scary on the highway. Feels like bad wind hitting you from random sides at random times, but no wind!

The only reason you replace the lower control arms is for the bushing and ball joint. Replacing with used seems like a wasted effort? You can replace the ball joints with Z32 ball joints I believe, and I bet the bushing is the same as the 240sx or 300ZX.

Replaced bushings and ball joints yesterday.

Z32 works for both, just make sure you get the Z32 ball joint shim as well.

And when you are pressing the old ball joints out don't forget to take the C-clip off, I did and it wasn't pretty. Pressed the ball joint straight through the bottom METAL cup. Made quite a fantastic sound when it let go!

Too late! Just ordered the pair. Damn. I agree on used ball joints, but I need to get a sticker and just paid the mortgage, prop tax, and insurance, OUCH....

Not bad for the price, 30 minutes to change those arms I've done them before. Would definitely have preferred that solution but there's no returns at this junky. How much did you end up spending on the bushings and ball joints?

But the FGY33 is a MacPherson strut and the G50/Z32 is not.
