Like the title states I was curious what some of you kadet guys are running for headgaskets. I'm going to do an oem rebuild (+ arp fasteners all around and better HG) on my bench motor soon.

I am probabley going to want something a little thicker just to drop the CR a intsy bit.

I am used to rebuilding engine with oem hg's so I'm pretty unfamiliar with type of material and how much oversized I can actually go.

This motor will probabley not see over 280-300 hp, at maybe 14-15psi~

And i'm at 5200 ft.

BTW. I did search, I probabley could have searched more, but the information I did find here didn't pertain to my q's exactly.

Any help, contribution would be appreciated, thanks

No need to drop the compression any unless you're looking to run quite a bit more boost. The standard 9.5:1 static ratio and a Felpro HG has been taken to well over 400whp.

So grab a Felpro and you'll be good to go.
